JE RÊVE DE TOI

In my opinion one of the better bands around today, Je Rêve De Toi are a couple DW Ribatski and Constance Pinheiro, respecively. Describing their music as "puzzle-game, IDM, easy-listening, angry and poisonous", they're songs are also very basic and instantly catchy electro-rock nuggets, with Constance playing her violin and the old Korg keybord while DW plays guitar and speak in tongues. They will release their first CD/EP in october/08 in Curitiba.

Stephanie has 16 years old but it doesn´t import because she is into the adult folk and smart music like an old hippie or an acid young hype playing good music. She likes Bright Eyes and Elliot Smith. Also i think she loves Velvet Underground (look her t-shirt!) because her music has a "touch" of Lou Reed/pop art attitude. The next time you talk about new brazilian music don't forget to talk about Stephanie Toth.
